Jetstar has officially added Bali as the tenth destination in its international network, announcing direct flights from Newcastle, Australia (NTL) to Bali Denpasar (DPS), starting 21 October 2025. This marks Newcastle Airport’s first international route since 2020.

The new service will operate **three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—**using the modern Airbus A321LR aircraft. With over 70,000 seats available annually, the route is set to significantly enhance connectivity for travelers in the Newcastle and Hunter regions.

The launch follows Jetstar’s expansion of its Gold Coast–Bali route in August, reinforcing Bali’s position as the airline’s most popular international destination, with around 100 weekly flights.

This new connection is expected to make international travel more accessible for residents of Newcastle and nearby regions, eliminating the need to drive to other cities for overseas flights.
